Tom Parette

I had high expectations again for 2002 but a very difficult race where I was sick for most of the run.  I was not sure why I could not keep any fluid in me but it made for a long race.  During the run I was convinced this would be my last Ironman event so I asked Shannon and Chris if they wanted to cross the finish line with me which they did.  I finished with a 12:33, not bad considering the circumstances but not what I expected.

The strange part here is the next day I signed up for the 2003 race.
